      Mendy grew up in a large family in the heart of South Florida. Since childhood he had a love for the art of structural building. His talent led him through many opportunities within the construction field and he finally accomplished his dream in 2008 by opening Century Builders and Restoration, Inc. Since then Mendy takes true pride in his company, the bases it stands on, and its continued growth. As Mendy, CEO and GC of Century Builders and Restoration states: “Satisfaction for me has always been that when a job is completed, I see that it is being used and enjoyed by and for its original intent. There is no greater satisfaction than to visit a client, years after a job is completed and hear how much they enjoy their home or project. For the same reason, it is why we take pride, in not only client referrals but when a client allows us to maintain their property and uses us for their future jobs.” 

      Mendy’s commitment is not only seen at a job-site but through the way he leads his life. Mendy volunteers at his local synagogue and serve as the chairman of the board. Additionally, he volunteers his time and expertise on a pro bono basis at his children’s school with regards to administration of its facilities to help reduce operational costs.
